The following reading group questions were inspired by a set of questions originally composed by Jane Reed who has conducted past group discussions for previous Coffeehouse Mysteries at Java.net Books and Gifts, a coffeehouse and bookstore in Cuba, Missouri. Many of these questions do not have right? or wrong? answers. This guide was designed to help lead a reading group through the events in the book’s narrative from beginning to end. Ideas are introduced to help spark discussion and encourage the sharing of thoughts and opinions. Feel free to skip any of these questions or add your own.
