The Composer of Screams

Domina City is in chaos—more than usual. In a city of monsters, there are now incomprehensible powers roaming the streets. Zombies have become real, and there is no defense against them. Warlords who once faced all challengers now hide in their domains from enemies they cannot understand.
Not everyone hides. The Paladins fight on the front lines to keep the city safe, to keep some sense of normalcy in a city that is anything but normal. But cracks in their facade are becoming more apparent, leaving more opportunities for the enemy to strike. Adam’s sociopathy is worrying the others. Ling has problems with her orphanage, and questions their actions. Akane’s long-buried family issues are rising to the fore. Laura continues to have difficulty fitting in with the others, and Derek becomes dangerously obsessed with his crush.
And above it all, always, there is the Composer, the one who creates the screamers. The one puppeteering the entire city, the one who wants nothing but to watch the world burn.
The Composer is not worried, or questioning morality, or having issues fitting in.
The Composer is having a blast.
