Slave of Froize

Eat your vegetables or the undead will come for you.
They told children stories of vampires and gleanings to scare them into doing chores. No one believed them, not even the ones who told the stories.
They were all true.
At a very young age, Laramie has been forced to live a nightmare that she can not break free from. She was part of one of the largest gleanings the humans have endured in centuries and she lives out her days as a captive and a servant in a kingdom that is hidden from the human world and filled with bloodthirsty vampires.
Laramie is rocketed from a lowly captive with a ruthless master to a personal pet and worker for the newly appointed King of Froize, Jett. Despite his distaste for the politics and formality that comes with being King, he has no choice but to become what all of the advisors demand he become.
In a kingdom where humans are looked upon as nothing more than laborers and prey Laramie knows she must do whatever she can to stay alive.
Will she fall just like every other captive has before her? Will Jett become the ruthless and dark king the other royals crave? Will the feelings they fight so hard to hide break them both?
