Framed for crimes I didn’t commit, including the murder of two demons, they practically accused me of bringing about Armageddon. Nonsense, all of it!But when they set me up for a battle to the death against the last demon I ever wanted to introduce to my magical halberd, they took their torture to a new low.
I wish I could say that was the last of their surprises, but I’m terrible at spotting sucker punches. And those cheaters were wearing brass knuckles.
Tangling with powerful demons who can set the human world ablaze with the flick of a finger is hardly something worldly demons get involved in. Thankfully, for the sake of humankind and the future struggle of Hell and Heaven, I’m not that smart.
