The government of the United States, formerly divided into two, is now one again. However, this does not mean that the Second American Civil War is over. Far from America now finds itself embroiled in a new and global conflict to save the Republic even as some at home begin to wonder if the entire Republic is even worth saving.
Everywhere the scene is darkening. Acting President Terrance Rickover fights secessionists who want to carve a new nation out of part of the United States and align it with the European Union while also fighting for his political life. The secessionists, led by a disgraced former President, fight amongst themselves as some see in the war an opportunity for a social revolution. Meanwhile, Generals Dylan Mackenzie and William Jackson propose daring new strategies that might shorten the war.
