Grand and beautiful, the Hyzantrian Empire stands strong across vast stretches of land. Her people faithfully serve The Sovereign, The Authority, and The Divinity. Her imperial justice executed by inquisitors in their flowing white robes hiding a plethora of knives and daggers, ensures that all citizens and residents obey the scriptures.
Despite centuries of magic’s illegality, maleefa still live. By some devil’s work, they can communicate with unseen beings and use their power. Such demons rely on maleefa to influence the world, and the magic users need demons to exercise more than mundane abilities. A market of evil between the two groups must be kept disrupted. The inquisition will never rest and will assassinate any maleefa with speed and stealth, before he or she can call upon demonic assistance.
Hyzantria is not alone in the world. To the west, scattered across islands, is the Citian Confederacy. The city-states live for glory in battle when they should live for justice in The Divinity’s name. Even more disgraceful and nefarious, to the east great horse-born empires powered by fire sorcerers are an unending threat. Both neighbors have the advantage of magic, but Hyzantria has faith.
In this world, there are boys becoming men. The Arrassio triplets and their best friend Lizeto focus on Hyzantria’s favorite pastime that inspires almost as much passion and zeal as The Divinity himself—sedeux.
