Ordella is a survivor.
Enslaved in the Warren with her elderly grandmother, fifteen-year-old Ordella has grown used to hardship and long days of backbreaking labor.
But when she discovers a bloodcap mushroom, her world is turned upside down, and she makes good her escape.
Embarking on a quest to discover the truth about her father’s disappearance, she soon reaches the hidden forest community of Oakhaven where she trains under a master archer. The village begins to feel like home, but Ordella can’t linger.
Somewhere in Ellusia, her father may still be alive, and Ordella won’t stop until she uncovers the truth.
