Rise of the White Lotus

Fifteen year old Jane MacLeod thought she had buried the horrors of her past in the peaceful dust of Ironco, Texas. When her past rises once more to haunt her, she is forced to flee back to the place where the nightmares began, in New York City. Attacked by a gang of thugs and left for dead, Jane is saved by a member of an elite group of covert operatives called the Shadow Brigade – all members having long retired from active service. They begin teaching Jane their collective skills, training her to become a lethal assassin. She intends to infiltrate the organization that murdered her family and bring to them the justice they deserve. The plan begins to crumble, and the people closest to Jane fall victim to her enemies. Will she be able to transform into the angel of death before it’s too late, or will she lose herself in that transformation forever?
