Private is a worldwide security and investigative organization founded by Jack Morgan. Jack’s business trip to his Paris office turns out to be much more than he planned. Morgan gets involved in a missing persons case after receiving a call from one of his wealthiest clients. He enlists his local Private staff to assist. The trail leads them to one of the sleazier areas of the city trying to track down their client’s wayward granddaughter. Meanwhile, the Parisian police are having their own problems with a series of sadistic murders involving some of Paris’ high profile cultural icons. These killings are believed to be part of a terrorist splinter group’s plot to create chaos all over the city. Morgan is called in to consult with the local gendarmes. What they find together could change the face of the City of Lights forever. This is a great story full of action and adventure. I highly recommend this thriller to any fan of the genre.
