**PAUL IS AN AVERAGE GUY. HE JUST WANTS TO STOP MOVING ALL THE TIME, MEET A GIRL, AND HAVE HIS FIRST OUTBREAK.**
Kept isolated by his father and always running from his uncle, Paul has nothing to look forward to except two things: an upcoming concert and his first Outbreak, where he’ll leave his body and become a powerful force of nature. He’s an Outbreaker, after all, like his father.
But at least one thing’s going right. Paul and his father can finally settle in Mobley, Oklahoma, an Outbreaker community where they’ll be safe from his uncle. Even if they had to free a creepy woman from prison to get in…
But something’s off about this town, and Paul’s beginning to suspect something is off about his nature, too. His father has hidden the truth from Paul all his life. Being an Outbreaker isn’t a good thing at all, and the leaders of his new town have their sights on him.
