Claudia Madison is back on the road again where she belongs. Finally, life seems to have gone back to normal, and she’s in a comfortable new routine. As always, Aunt Daisy Mae equates normal with boring, and Claudia can’t help but secretly agree. While working at a school to roll out Greenwood’s new literacy program, the pair stumble across a tantalizing mystery. Ten years ago, a popular teacher went missing without a trace. Police suspected foul play, but without a body the case went cold.
Claudia is tempted to try to figure it out, but she realizes that the case might be beyond her capabilities. However, the decision is made for her on a rainy afternoon when she stumbles upon a body on school grounds. Unfortunately, the discovery means that a dormant killer is suddenly thrust back into the spotlight, and who knows what they might do to keep their secret? The case attracts all sorts of strange characters, including another amateur sleuth who would do anything to gather content for their podcast.
