What if we hadn’t won the Battle of Britain? Sam Beattie finds the very idea of loyalty stretched to its limits. But luckily for him, Sam Beattie is a survivor. As the war turns against Britain, Sam finds his back to the wall, fighting against an unstoppable German Army, who eventually prevail, casting a long shadow over a newly-occupied United Kingdom.
Sam spends time as a POW and it is then that his life takes a truly bizarre turn which will forever mark him out as no ordinary soldier….
