Everyone is excited to attend a surprise performance by the enthralling magical performing scarabs. The town turns out to enjoy the show, including a bundle of annoying non-magicals. They just won’t take the hint and leave.
But that won’t stop me and my wonderful witch, Zandra, from enjoying ourselves. The partying continues through the night, resulting in the formidable ‘Old Mother’ Splinter almost drowning when she goes night swimming in the sea! She must have enjoyed the free drink too much to consider that a fun idea.
The next day, everyone is shocked to learn she died at the hospital, and what appears to be a tragic accident gets serious when a lethal sleep spell is discovered in her system. And it’s spreading. If you fall asleep, you never wake up!
