I went into this book hyped because of the description on the back. It sounded so amazing. It had such potential. But I did not enjoy this book. I feel like everything was rushed. The characters and their interactions felt forced. SPOILER: Alissa meets Miles once then when she sees him again she all of a sudden kisses him and they’re magically together? No way. Not realistic at all. The other characters weren’t likeable. It was all just very forced and extremely rushed. And the game masters motive was incredibly juvenile. I’m sure this author is a good writer but this book didn’t showcase that.
