Mary doesn’t leave her readers disappointed. This book grabs you from the first page. Opens up with the daughter of a antique furniture owner going to the warehouse with a retired employee because she wants to show him something while walking up the stairs she smells gas and tries to get out to no avail the employee dies in the explosion and she is in a coma. While insurance investigators are doing their job a body turns up under the foundation which happens to be the body of a girl who has been missing for 28 years. Throw in a few cute guys a homeless guy and a story is wove with twists and turns that you wouldn’t believe.
