I was thoroughly spooked by the end of the first chapter. Wow I love that feeling. There are so few books that can do that anymore. Great characterizations. A very original story. Made me think of a Alfred Hitchcock movie. At one point well into the book around midnight I was so engrossed in the book that when my cell phone rang because my wife was calling for a ride home from work, I thought I was going to have a heart attack. Seriously!!!
