This book is very entertaining and involves you in the development of the storyline and the interchanges of the main charaters and their trials in the pursuit of the answers to mankind and their search for sentient life. Have reread this book whenever it appears in a multi-author book collection instead of just skipping the story since it is so well written and involving. I have purchased the balance of the series as well and keep it in my active library so I can reread at my leisure and rediscover the story and focus on what I missed the first time through. I wish this would be offered as a complete series omnibus when the author completes the Archangel chapter in his writing.
