Hal and Roger go with their father on a collectin trip down the Amazon, but their father is called away and they continue the expedition on their won. As they sail through the country of the headhunters in search of vampire bats, boa constrictors, iguanas and gaint ants, they have some terrifyingly narrow escapes – and not only from the strange creatures that surround them.
