Amber’s life has not always been easy. The one bright spot is that she accidentally discovered the supernatural world and everyone in it. To keep her quiet she is invited to participate in an experiment between the races. A high school where werewolves, vampire, fae and everything in between…an attempt to bring peace between them. The only human there everyone assumes she is a mercenary. Alastair is a vampire prince. He grew up on a battlefield and socializing is not his thing. His parents, mostly his mother, thinks he is missing important growing experiences and enrolled him. Amber has to be his first friend and only friend. Or as close to one as he can get. So when he discovers her troubles he tries to help and immerses her in their world, literally making her a part of his family. Amber adapts and decides that what the councils are doing to make peace between one another is not good enough.
