The final battles of the Second Civil War have begun.
The Federation of North American States, led by a former President of the United States, has been broken into multiple pieces. Its hopes of capturing a large portion of the American territory lie in ruins. But that doesn’t mean that the war is over or that all is lot yet.
Even amidst the chaos of war, the normal electoral process continues. Terrance Rickover, the Acting President of the United States, is facing a fierce challenge from an independent candidate who is running on a peace platform. The leaders of the Federation and their European allies hope that, if they can hold out through the election, they can at least preserve something via a negotiated peace. Meanwhile, Acting President Rickover is determined to conclude the war with the unconditional surrender of the enemy, no matter the human cost.
