Romancing the Gorgon

Two magical ex-lovers, one inn, and a second chance to capture a heart of stone. Witch Lettie Katz has tried to carve out a life for herself in her magical hometown of Lilac Lake, but after her grandmother died and left no mention of the inn she co-owned in her will, figuring out what that life would look like got a lot harder. When Lettie is called to the town lawyer’s office after the death of the inn’s other owner, she’s surprised to find her Gorgon ex-girlfriend, Chandler Hart waiting as well.
Chandler is the last person Lettie wants to deal with. She’s the reason Lettie no longer uses her magic. Their explosive relationship broke Lettie’s heart, blew up town square-literally-and sent Chandler running. But Chandler’s grandmother left them both half of the inn, and Lettie can’t avoid her, thanks to a clause stipulating that neither woman can sell their portion for at least six months.
A decade of resentment stops both women from even considering selling, but that means Lettie and Chandler must find a way to stop arguing and work together. This task would be hard enough for mere mortals, but for a witch and a gorgon where there’s strong feelings, there’s powerful magic. As old feelings resurface, can the two women find a way to make it work this time, or will the Stone and Sorcery Lodge be ruined before the next tourist season?
