Past Remembering

Love stories. With her new library position not due to start for a couple of months Asha plans to take a well-earned break and spend some time with her family. On her arrival home Asha is contacted by Vivienne Chaseley, the matriarch of one of the city’s pioneering families. The elderly woman has seen a book Asha prepared for a friend’s family reunion and she wants Asha to do something similar about her own family for her son’s sixtieth birthday. Asha is delighted to take on the project. Vivienne even suggests Asha move into the Chaseley home while she completes her research and Asha is thrilled to have the opportunity to spend some time in the historic house. Then Asha meets Peri Moyland who is also staying at the house and starts to wonder what it would take to melt Peri’s frosty exterior. As Asha begins her research, correlating the information in the contents of an old chest, she finds her attraction to the cool Peri also starts to grow. Any involvement on Asha’s part would be simply asking for trouble and more heartache. Wouldn’t it?
