Frank and Joe have signed up for a Bayport baseball camp run by ex-major leaguers Spike Nolan and Zeke “Fireball” Horner. But someone has thrown the Hardy’s a curve. The camp turns out to be a diamond in the rough, complete with collapsing bleachers, bullet-fast pitching machines, and exploding baseballs!
When the boys investigate, they discover that a big league crime syndicate has gotten into the game. There’s foul play on the mound and at the plate—and the Hardy’s come out swinging!
