When Ronnie ends up at a boarding school for troubled teens, she doesn’t know what’s worse: being forced to deal with the grief of losing her mother or dealing with the mean-girl clique intent on breaking her. She never imagined the girls would use her grief to torment her. But when she happens to grab the attention of the cute and charming Will Tucker-the very boy the leader of the clique has her sights set on-that’s exactly what they do. In a prank so diabolical, the girls use a Ouija board and pretend to make contact with Ronnie’s mother. But their cruel joke has consequences for everyone who was in the room that night, because it seems their amateur séance has opened a door to the other side.
