Tiers of Delight

It’s just a little contest. No big deal. Between my experience and my brilliant recipes, becoming the new owner of Tiers of Delight should be a piece of cake. Except it’s not. Even though I’ve worked for years to see my name, Phoenix Nelson, followed by “Owner” on my name tag, Cornelia Evans waltzed into the bakery two years ago and believes she’s entitled to this place as much as I am. She is the bane of my existence. A spoiled rich kid who is given everything she wants. Only, in the heat of one hatred-filled moment, everything changes.
