I really enjoyed this book as its unique idea of how magic can impact individuals. This book was very easy to get hook into and how the book is organized makes it easy to read and follow along with the characters. Though this story is told through the perspective of a 20-year-old woman, but you get also glimpses from another character’s perspective in the woman’s mind. I loved the idea of it, and it made me want to know more. The ending has stabbed me in the heart because now I have to wait to read the second book. I would highly recommended if you are looking for something that is feels dark but isn’t.
