Description

After a “controlled burn” accidentally torches dozens of homes and businesses in a coastal town of Franklin County, Florida, Detectives Skylar Reid and Harvey Baker are left with a body on their hands. When the remains are found without ID, and there is no means of identifying the victim, besides a few pieces of evidence: a scorched cellphone, a tip of a blade, and some rare gold coins, they’ll have to dig deeper.
