Orphaned and naive young blacksmith, Gunther Doone, sets out alone on a journey from his isolated town of Wille to find out who killed his only uncle. Never having been anywhere, Gunther must learn who to trust in a strange land gone mad at the hands of the ruthless and evil Skylord Kalus. He encounters Teeglio, an old ally of his uncle’s, and they face the adventure together. In order to finalize his grip, Kalus needs an ancient, enchanted heirloom that Gunther carries. Each has a need for what the other has. It steers them both back in the direction of Wille where a now seasoned and far savvier Gunther, must fight for much more than just his life.
