Having already read The Covenant of Water and totally enjoying it, I knew I had to read Cutting for Stone just to see if it was as good. This book did not disappoint! The characters, the history, emotions, love of family, I loved all of it. Being in the medical field myself, I thoroughly enjoyed the detailed medical and surgical parts of the book. This is one book I’ll definitely read again.
