Things are finally looking up for Toni. The lodge is almost finished, she has an amazing boyfriend, and the town she chose as her new home is turning out to be a dream come true. Now if people would just stop getting themselves murdered!
When a body turns up at a local bakery, all eyes turn to Gabe, the sheriff. After all, there’s never a better suspect than an angry ex. To make matters worse, his second in command happens to be the victim’s brother, and the victim’s ghost is haunting them, swearing Gabe’s the one who killed her.
That leaves it up to Toni and Dee to solve the murder and put a restless ghost to rest before the new temporary sheriff in town throws the book at his boss. Not to fear, though. It’s not the first time they’ve had to solve a murder against the odds.
